A third-generation Coloradan, Kelly Denzler is a career educator who knows firsthand what students and teachers need to succeed. Over a decade in the classroom and in school leadership roles, Kelly taught AP courses, supported students with learning differences, mentored new teachers, and presented at leading education conferences. She holds teaching and principal licenses in Colorado and a Master of Education in Education Leadership.

Kelly has experienced the real challenges facing schools—staff shortages, low pay, learning gaps, and the pressure on teachers to do more with less. Today, she works in national education publishing, developing resources that help improve instruction across the country.

Kelly and her husband are parents to 5-year-old Teddy, who began Kindergarten in the District this fall. As both an educator and parent, Kelly brings both personal and professional investment in the District's success. She believes that real solutions start with listening, collaboration, and a deep respect for what’s happening in our schools every day.
